One can make payment for parking in Laikipia through USSD (*861#), Mpesa Paybill number or through Laikipia Pay App or Online Laikipia Pay website.

These Methods are convenient in parking zones around Rumuruti town, Nanyuki town, outside Laikipia University and Nanyuki Teaching and Referral Hospital.

1. Dial *861# on your mobile phone to access the registration menu.
2. Enter your full name as it appears on your identification documents.
3. Provide your identification number for verification.
4. Navigate through the menu and select “Parking” as the service.
5. Choose your parking zone, chose Laikipia 
6. Select your vehicle type ie psv, saloon car
7. Enter the vehicle’s number plate accurately.
8. Choose your Safaricom number for payment.
9. You'll receive a prompt from Safaricom to input your M-pesa pin to confirm payment.
10. You'll receive a confirmation message from both M-pesa and Laikipia Pay.

How to pay for Parking In Laikipia Town using Mpesa Paybill

1. After receiving an invoice.
2. Go to your M-PESA menu and select “PayBill.” 
3. Enter the business number 313131.
4. Use your invoice number as the account number, formatted as: Parking Zone Initials + Number Plate (e.g., NYK KAA 123A ).
5. Input the amount indicated on your invoice.
6. Enter your M-PESA PIN to complete the transaction.
7. Confirmation messages will be sent from M-PESA and Laikipia Pay. 

Steps to following in making parking payment in Laikipia Via Laikipia e pay platform 

1. Visit laikipiapay.com or download the Laikipia Pay app (Google Play Store/Apple Store).
2. Register with your details and confirm via SMS OTP.
3. Log in using your ID number and password.
4. Select Street Parking and choose an option: Daily Parking: Input vehicle type, registration number, and parking zone. Seasonal Parking: Select vehicle type, number plate, duration (1 month), zone, and start date.
5. Reserved Parking: Fill in required details.
6. Click “Pay Now” and authorize with your M-PESA PIN.
7. Payment confirmation will be sent via M-PESA and updated in your Laikipia Pay account.

Steps to following in making cash parking payments in Laikipia Town

1. Locate an authorized parking attendant wearing a yellow coat 
2. Provide your vehicle Registration Number 
3. Pay the required fee in cash(as for rates if not displayed)
4. Ensure you receive an official receipt 
5. Display the receipt on you dashboard if required

Be keen to verify signage in busy areas like Nanyuki and Rumuruti Town.

Keep transactions messages for atleast 24 hours for reference incase required
